Did You Know?
• Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was only 26 years old when he helped lead the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
• His famous “I Have a Dream” speech was delivered in 1963 to over 250,000 people during the March on Washington.
• MLK Jr. Day is the only federal holiday designated as a National Day of Service, encouraging people to give back.
• He believed that “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?”
